Anyone ever been to Portsmouth New Hampshire??? what are some of the things to do there?? places to eat etc

I used to go with my parents because I have relatives in NH.
We are staying there in July on a New England Road Trip. We are going to Kittery, Maine which is about 10 minutes from Portsmouth to do outlet shopping. In Portsmouth, there is a shipyard museum. About 20 minutes south is Hampton Beach, which is a nice seaside area with music every night over the summer and nice restaurants.
