***New Here w/ a question***
Hi everyone. I have been lurking a bit for a few months. DH and I decided to TTC starting in Jan. I am very new to this. First i want to wish us all
Now here's my question... I have a very regular cycle. I came off BCP in September and since I have been off I have had my period every 28-29 days faithfully. I am currently on CD 32 and AF has not shown up yet.
I took a FRER HPT yesterday morning but i did not use FMU and i got a BFN. We probably BD only once during my ovulation time because we were not actively trying and were just whatever happens happens. I am usually very in tune to when i am ovulating. I did not use OPK's or anything but i have the same symptoms when i ovulate month after month.
I mean not to sound naive but is it possible that I am pregnant? Should i test again and when should I test? DH feels that i am pregnant and i feel like it's just so unlikely that i am but i guess you never know.
I am worried that I am skipping AF this month which concerns me becauser I never ever skip a cycle. I just don't think she is coming this month.
Anyways any help would be appreciated.

I would say wait another day or so and test with fmu. You could have ovulated later this month. If AF is still a no show and still a BFN I would call your doctor

Re: ***New Here w/ a question***
We're in the same boat here!
I've always been a 28-29 day cycle girl....however this month...I did not O until CD 19!!! Which I've just recently understood completely will push back your AF date. (I at first was thinking I may have a short LP)
I'm at CD33 today and still got a BFN this morning....after discussions this morning, I really should not be getting AF until Saturday...which means, I'm playing the waiting game too.
I was just like you, thinking I was always regular and never veered off, even after going off BCP but you just never know what your body feels like doing each month. (my case in point)
Hang in there.
I plan on not testing again until AFTER Saturday or it could be that I dont have to test at all. (which would suck of course!)

I am in the same boat as both you ladies. I came of BCP in Oct abd my cycles have been very regular 27-29 days. Last month we tried a little and I relied on my monthy cycles.com to tell me when I would "o" . We got a BFN so this month I am trying and OPK. I get ovulation cramps and I think I can tell when I am ovulating, but I am going to see what the OPK tells me so I can really see if I am in tune with my bod or if I am going to learn something new.

Re: ***New Here w/ a question***
Hello Same boat!! I always was 28 days with no exceptions. Well last month I was CD 21 and this month I am CD 36 with BFN. I feel like AF is coming but still not here. I hope I get BFP or AF soon so I can move on to the next month.

Yup I feel the same if she's going to come I wish she would just come already so i can go on to next month. She is nowhere in sight now. If she doesn't come by Sunday I will test again with FMU. I will be on cycle day 36 by then.

Re: ***New Here w/ a question***
I came off BC in July and had 30-32 day cycles for around 4 months, then all of a sudden it jumped to 35 the last two months. One helpful piece of advice that I've learned on this board is that the day AF arrives is completely dependent on when you ovulate (= your Luteal Phase). So using OPKs are very helpful so that you don't get your hopes up when you think you're late.

Thanks I am going to try OPK's this month to see if I can get a handle on approximate ovulation dates and how long my LP is. Thanks again
