New here with a question
I have been reading posts on this site for quite a while and have finally decided to post. I am 28 and from Lindenhurst. My husband and I have been married a little over a year and are ready to start ttc. My husband was in a motorcycle accident 5 years ago and is paralyzed because of it. So our journey of ttc will be slighlty different. TMI but he does not ejaculate so I believe they will have to do a procedure to remove the sperm from him. As far as I know I don't have any problems but I have never tried to get pregnant. I went to my gyn and she recommended that I see a specialist. So that brings me to today. We have an appointment at LI-IVF today with Dr. Brenner for a consultation. My question is what can I expect to happen at the consultation?
Thanks in advance for any guidance.

Re: New here with a question
Not the same situation, but I have a friend whose husband had a vasectomy before they were married. He had it reversed but it did not work. He does ejaculate but no sperm is released. So they took it right from his testicle and did IVF. They have twins. I think that will probably be what they recommend for you and hopefully your husband can't feel it because he said it was VERY painful! GL and
