New Jeep Liberty or Dodge Nitro?
Does anyone have either of these ('08 or '09)?
I'm trading in my lease in a few weeks and need to decide. I haven't test drove the Nitro yet, but I did test drive the Liberty and loved it.
I had an '03 Liberty and loved that so i'm leaning toward this new one but would love to hear the good/bad about both.

I LOVE the Nitro(for look alone) but have never driven or researched them so I am probably no help! nI do have a Jeep Grand Cherokee with 126k still kickin but also know people that have had bad luck with their Jeeps

Same with me, I think the Nitro is adorable!
I have the Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo now also (an '06) and I like it, but it's had some problems. I'm glad it's a lease. The liberty I had before this had no problems at all!

Aren't they built on the same platform?
If they are... essentially they are the same car. The only differences would probably be cosmetic.

I have the Nitro and DH has the Grand Cherokee Hemi, both 2008. We love our cars, but his rated better in safety than my Nitro, but my NItro is better than his on gas! I was going to get a New liberty as well...but fell in love with this...so different and I get stopped all of the time, b/c not many people have them!
I feel that my Nitro is a bit more roomy but his car is a bit more classy.
I have the RX in Red with 20 inch rims, and black leather interior with red stitching!!! Upgrade the rims...it looks so much better!!!

DH has the 08 Jeep Liberty and LOVES it! I don't know anything about the nitro, but it's a great looking car too.

I have an 08 Liberty, this is my 3rd one. I like it, it was very affordable, just wish it had a little more oomph to it

I test drove a Compass and a Nitro. The Nitro is really bad on gas mileage. 
ets: Chrysler Jeep Dodge no longer leases as of 8 weeks ago. I am not sure if you are planning on doing a lease so I thought I should point that out.

I know, I actually posted about it when I got the email. We are still going to lease though... just not through chrysler financial.
