New post with poll, WWYD?

Ok, so I am due May 27th, my sisters wedding is June 12th Chat Icon Chat Icon soo that is crappy timing but I seem to have figured it out and will just do the best I can that day....

NOW my cousin has decided she is getting married July 10th, so baby will be a little over a month old...the kicker is its in Maine!! So that's about 6 hours away Chat Icon Chat Icon

What should I do?!? I will have my Mom and Sister with DH and I and my Aunt lives 1/2 an hour away so we can stay at her house. Is it just too much too soon though? I am pretty close with this cousin and would really love to make it...

What would you do? Chat Icon

My niece traveled from Michigan to come to my wedding at 5wks old. I know my SIL was exhausted but didnt want to miss it and the baby was fine at the wedding. I think you might be able to do it!

Ok, so I was just concerned baby will be so young but I guess it will be ok...

My brother just said he would drive us in his Subaru, he said "its really safe for baby" lol, so that makes the ride better b/c we can take turns sitting in back with babe while the other helps bro navigate..

I think we should do it, weddings are important and I will have a ton of family to help me out..

Thanks everyone for your opinions Chat Icon

I was a BM for my BFF in her wedding 18 days after having DD. Her wedding was in Boston. We live in NJ. My parents came with DH, DS, DD and I to help out. It was great. I would go.

it really depends on how you are. i know some people keep the baby inside for a month and dont let anyone hold him/her etc. in my family, from day one everyone is all over the baby LOL so it wouldnt even make sense to avoid something like a wedding
