New question about the C25K
So I am starting week 2 today
I was just curious if you lost weight during the process. I am eatting well and just wondering if this program also acts as a weight loss or if its just basically more about getting into running. TIA

I started running purposely to lose weight (and then just got addicted!). I lost about 20 lbs in the first 6 months of running.

I lost weight while running, but I was also doing WW at the time. I'm sure both of them contributed to the weight loss I had.

I didn't lose weight on the scale so much (wasn't trying to either), but my body definitely leaned out...well except for my azz...I didn't have one, and now I do!!!

I lost close to 25 lbs from just running alone. It burns a lot of calories!!!! It's my secret to weight loss!!!!

I think it can help with weight loss if a person doesn't overeat to compensate for all the calories burned when running (I have a tendency to do that so I don't lose much from running alone). However because of running I can have a little more leeway with my diet & not gain any weight, & also people comment that I look more "fit" when I run a lot, so I guess it tones up my body & my clothes fit better even if I don't really lose much weight.
