new timeline in Lisa Irwin case

its just getting more bizarre by the day ... WHERE is this poor baby Chat Icon

(CBS) KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Kansas City Star reports that an unnamed source "familiar with the family's recollection of events" of the night 10-month-old Lisa Irwin disappeared has provided local media with details about what the family says happened.

Pictures: Lisa Irwin

According to the Kansas City Star report on Tuesday,, the source related the following timeline:

Lisa's father Jeremy Irwin came home from his day job as an electrician about 2:30 that afternoon.

About 4:30 p.m., Deborah Bradley and her brother, Phillip Netz, left the house to go a neighborhood store to buy a box of wine and baby supplies. Irwin stayed with Lisa and her half-brothers, ages 8 and 5.

About 5 p.m., Netz and Bradley returned from the store. Netz soon left. About 30 minutes later, Irwin headed to work at a Starbucks, but he did not expect the work to keep him away from home as long as it did.

Samantha Brando, a next door neighbor in her 20s, came over to the Irwin house with her 4-year-old daughter. The daughter played with Lisa's half-brothers.

Bradley put Lisa in her crib about 6:40 p.m., while Brando headed to a store to purchase liquor for herself.

Brando returned to the Irwin home about 7 p.m. and sat on the front stoop with Bradley. The two smoked cigarettes, talked and drank.

By 10:30 p.m., Bradley, who had consumed five to 10 glasses of wine, was intoxicated. She told Brando that she was going to bed. Brando left.

The boys fell asleep in bed with Bradley. The door to Lisa's bedroom already was closed to block out noise from the boys playing earlier.

Irwin finished his work at Starbucks at 3:45 a.m. and drove home.

Once home, he noticed the front door unlocked and the lights on, which was unusual. He walked to the computer room and realized the window was open. He tried to shut it but couldn't because it wouldn't work properly.

He walked to the boys' room and saw that the older boy was in his bed on the top bunk. The younger boy still was in bed with Bradley.

The door to Lisa's room was open, but Irwin did not peek inside. He walked by and entered his bedroom.

Lisa Irwin was 10-months-old when she was reported missing on Tuesday, Oct. 4.

Re: new timeline in Lisa Irwin case

so many things wrong with this... who leaves their infant home alone with an 8 year old and 5 year old?! who gets drunk outside a house while their kids are inside with no one watching them? when exactly did the father realize she was missing if he didn't check on her when he got home? this is just so disturbing. based on these facts alone these people (especially the mom) seem so neglectful.

I agree with all of the other things that you said but I just wanted to clarify that the timelines states that dad Jeff Irwin stayed with the Lisa and the two boys until the mother got home from the store.

this timeline

OCT. 4

3:30 a.m.
After work keeps him longer than expected, Jeremy Irwin returns home to find the lights on and the screen damaged, according to WPTV (KCTV5 has Jeremy Irwin getting home at 3:45 a.m.). He also notices that the front door is unlocked and a computer room window is open.

Frustrated by the lights being left on when money is tight -- and angry about seeing a stray kitten at the foot of the bed -- he wakes Deborah Bradley, according to The Kansas City Star.

A groggy Deborah Bradley realizes she hasn't checked on Baby Lisa, KCTV5 reports. She finds the crib empty. (WPTV reports that Jeremy Irwin is the first to realize Baby Lisa is missing).

Jeremy Irwin runs to Samantha Brando's house next door, but his neighbors say Lisa isn't there, WPTV. He realizes that the family's three cellphones are missing from a counter and dials 911 on a mobile phone he keeps for work.

Officers dispatched to the house are given the following message, according to KCTV5:

[H]e noticed that his 10-month-old daughter is missing and he's not sure how long she's been gone. And the screen is busted and he didn't witness anything.

so i thought they said he checked on her...and now he didnt check?

nothing new on the cadaver dogs that responded to a scent in the house ?

5-10 glasses ? that's a BIG gap. So you had 2-4 bottles of wine by yourself while home with your 10 month old, and two kids under 10 years old.

The drinking part doesn't make sense. I would think the cops would have picked up on the fact that she was drunk. If you drink that much, I think you would still be drunk at 4am. None of it makes sense. They are no longer searching for the baby though I just heard on the news Chat Icon
