New to the Boards!! BFP!
I just got my BFP after trying for a year and 4 months. Very happy and excited, yet nervous at the same time. I go in for bloodwork on July 14th and will have my first sono at 8 weeks.
Any advice on what to expect right now?
What foods are good and what foods should I avoid?

Congrats!!!!!
I was told to avoid: uncooked lunch meat, sushi, soft cheeses (unpasteruized), ceasar dressing or anything else that may contain raw eggs (like cookie dough), and hot dogs. There are more, you can always google a list or look on baby center.
Limit seafood and caffeine.
Enjoy yourself! Being pregnant is such a wonderful experience!

Congrats and welcome!! Must be soooooo wonderful after a year and four months!!! I don't go nuts with being careful of what to eat... I ate some hot dogs and lunch meat periodically, most everything in moderation. But I would avoid of course alcohol, cigarettes, sushi, soft unpasteurized cheese, raw eggs and an excessive amount of caffeine. Other than that, try not to worry too much if you can help it!!! I was very nervous my first 12 weeks and wish I had relaxed a little bit more and enjoyed my first trimester. But it is hard! Congrats again!!

congrats!!! Enjoy this wonderful time. I wouldn't worry too much about what to eat except raw and unpasteruized foods. Everything in moderation. Your dr will tell you what to avoid.
