Having a new tub put in and some tile work done around the tub. For those who have had this done recently - how long did it smell afterwards? Also does anyone remember how long it was until you could use it. Trying to figure out if we need to get a hotel orbwhen we want to do the job.

We DIY ed it a few weeks ago. We used it the day after the grout was done. I don't recall any smell at all?

We just did ours and it didn't smell at all. Once the grout is dry it's fine to use, I am just waiting on my DH to seal so we haven't used it yet.

The grout and tile should not really smell. And you can use it as soon as the gout is dry.

The only thing that will smel is if an epoxy is used for soemthing.

We just had our bathroom redone, including a new tub and tile work, and I didn't notice any smell afterwards. We were told we could use it the next day. If it's your only bathroom you might need to stay in a hotel because the job may take more than one day.

Thank you so much! It is our only full bath but we have it set up back to back so we can use the 1/2 bath and shower at my parents who are 5 mins away. I was concerned it would smell bad and wouldn't be safe for the girls to sleep near the smell.
