New User- PLs help! Need Recommendation for a hall in Eastern Suffolk for christening

Hello, We are new to LIFamilies.
I have my sons christening scheduled and cannot seem to find a decent hall for a decent price in Suffolk county. If anyone has any ideas they would be greatly appreciated. I live in Sound Beach and the christening is going to be in Commack so Iam pretty open to almost anywhere in Suffolk... Thanks so much!

Did you try Pomodorinos? (Not sure I spelled that correctly)

I had my daughters christening party at the Farmingville Firehouse...you can try something like that or a knights of columbus and have it catered it was like only 300 to rent the firehouse

i just had my DS christening last weekend at Bella Roma in Rocky Point. It was great. I only had to ring balloons and the favors! They did such a great job that I was actually able to enjoy myself!

Yeah I am actually thinking of renting the Sound Beach Firehouse, as far as the catering did the caterer that you used also serve the food?
and did you have beer, wine, and soda. and if so did you have a bartender or just set it up.... Im sorry if this sounds wierd.. I just tried for over 3 years to have a child then we were blessed with twins... and i just want to enjoy every min of there christening and I do not want to have to do much but sit back and enjoy it... Thanks for the advice!

These are all a little bit more on the expensive side.

I would try Papa Joe's in Deer Park (on Commack Road), Orlando's in Commack on Commack Road, Pomodorino on Motor Parkway in Hauppauge. Also Bertuccis in Hauppauge does parties, but they do not have a private room.

Also, the Chinese Buffet in Commack in the Mayfair shopping center does parties - they give you a private area and it is something like $12 pp including soda, tax and gratuities.

That is a nice idea do they have a private room? Was it expensive?
That would be nice because it is sooo close to my home. Also did you do beer wine & soda? Thanks for your help!

Did you try the Irish Coffee Pub in East Islip? They have quite a few different private rooms. I had my friends bridal shower there and also my rehearsal dinner. I thought they were very accomodating and the price is very reasonable.

Here's the website:
