New Years Day Ideas
I am thinking of having my dad over for New Years day and need ideas for food!
What are some things you serve on New Years?

New Years Day Ideas
NYE we do finger foods- pigs in blanket, mozz sticks, rice balls, heros, etc.
For New Year's Day, we usually have either lasagna or rice ball casserole with chicken cutlets and a salad

If it's early in the day, what about brunch?

That's a good idea but I was probably going to have them come over around 4ish.
Maybe I'll make a roast with potatoes and veggies.
Lasagna sounds good but I suck at making sauce..lol and my dad would notice store bought!

Re: New Years Day Ideas
New years eve I do a day of fun-finger foods. But I incorporate veggies & fruit too, so at least it's balanced
For NY Day, we always start the year with a nice meal....grill steaks, mushrooms, I always make "money salad", then something like asparagus or something.
My DD requested I make homemade cinnamon buns for breakfast.
