Newborn gas
Hi ladies...I'm posting b/c I'm so stressed... I've read prior posts on what to do about gas issues but I still feel so helpless
My poor DS has his crying spurts and I just sit here, hold him, try to do all the tricks to help him pass it...I've been giving him Mylicon. I'd say 5 out of the 8 daily feedings he cries or grunts afterwards until he passes gas or poops. Is this normal? Its so stressfull. He quiets for a bit when I hold him but for the most part he still crys and/or squirms like hes uncomfortable.
Is there anything else I can do? Do I just deal with this and watch him cry? He is 3 weeks old.
eta I am BFing and started to really watch what I eat lately so im hoping that helps...

Re: Newborn gas
DS was like this and I almost went crazy. I used Mylicon at every bottle and used the DR Brown bottles.

Same here and then eventually had to switch formula.
