newborn question...when does the gas get better?
I was wondering when DS will stop having so much gas.....most of the time he passes it pretty easily, but there are plenty of times he's uncomfortable enough that it wakes him up or makes him cry.

I think once his body adjusts to the formula he should ok. It might be the bottles too. Maybe try switching? But to answer your original question I would think 2-3 weeks once he is fully on formula but I could be wrong.

Did you try Mylicon drops? Ryan never had gas but Patrick had it bad. The drops worked wonders for him.

gas drops seem to work for a short time but the gas comes back.
he is mostly a BF baby with 1, MAYBE 2 bottles of formula a day (3 oz each) and it's Gentlease......

My son had HORRIFIC gas, and nothing helped. My doctor was very anti-remedy and said that babies get gas, and that it would go away after 3 months. I swear, right when my son turned 4 months I saw a major change, so hang in there!

awwww - I hope he feels better. Patrick had a hard time too but once I put him on rice cereal he was a changed baby. I put him on at 8 weeks (spoon fed)
