Newborn photographer recommendations
Someone who has a good product, but won't break the bank! I don't need a book - just a cd and maybe some prints.

I did my maternity photos with Gina Marie and I loved her. She's also will be doing my newborn shoot. I thought her prices were very reasonable. Gina Marie

Newborn photographer recommendations
I just ordered the pictures from 365 Photography that came to the hospital room. She got AMAZING shots.
We have been using Remember When Photography for DS's other pictures and we're very happy with them! They do newborn shots as well!

I booked my new born shoot with Gina Marie too! Loved her work! and she won't break the bank compared to others I've seen

I used Gina for our newborn photos and LOVE them!! She is so talented!

I used FoxCubs (a division of Silverfox) for my maternity shoot. Will use th for newborn shoot as well

Highly recommend Forever Fireflies. She does amazing work and is super sweet. I take DS every 6ms for pictures. LOVE HER!

we (have used in the past) and will use Christine Melissa Photography with this baby girl!
We also used Summerlyn in 2010 but her prices now are too high for us (her work is fantastic but we just cannot afford it now).

We used Cassandra Ann Photography for our family shoot and adore the photos. I believe she is also working with Janelle Brooks Photography now (they have a great web page with lots of pictures of babies and kids that I know Cassie took, because they are my kids!). We will be using her for our newborn/family shoot. She was quite reasonable as of last summer.

a friend had his done and they were closer to $350 - but they live in NJ and it was a NJ based photographer

This is more than DH wants to spend too. But 500 is what I keep gettin quoted (I was quoted 600 and 800 at other places) crazy!

I have a whole list of photogs I contacted and it really depends on if you want a CD or not...you can get some that are $200 but you have to pay for the pics seperately...FM me and I can give you what I have

The photog. we used for DD's newborn shoot was $350 but just checked her site and she is $425 now. Also, check living social. We got a deal for $70 that we used for DD's 1st birthday shoot. I am sooooo in love with these pics! And more in love with the fact of how much i paid.

I just booked this girl, for my sons 1st birthday cake smash. i wish I saw her when my son was born. So affordable, she just had a sale for $75 shoot with 15 images on a cd!!

I just want to add, that with newborn photographers it's not just an in and out job. They spend upwards of 3 hours with you, depending on the fussiness of the baby. And since they're only a newborn once I would highly recommend going with someone who is experienced and you will love their work. Sometimes you might get lucky with someone just starting out, but I wouldn't want to take that risk. Generally lifestyle sessions are going to be less money because the photographer is only spending about an hour with you and they aren't posing the baby.
Just wanted to add that! I just would hate to see someone not pay for someone they loved and then hate the pictures you know? Good luck! And I can recommend, Gina Marie, Christine Melissa, AvaJack and a few others because their work is superb ;)
