Newborn photography - is it too late?

I've decided to do this - if possible. And I'm due 9/2. I've heard you need to book this like 6 months in advance. Well, obviously I've missed that boat. Should I just make phone calls tomorrow?

Who should I call? (And who should I not bother with?) I want someone in Suffolk county, or if they're from Nassau, they'd have to travel out to my in Mid-Suffolk. And do they have the props? Cuz I have none - I didn't want to buy anything since the baby is Chat Icon, and I didn't want to buy gender-neutral hats and stuff.

TIA!!!

Try who you want first. You never know if they had a cancellation, opened more spots, whatever.

I agree! My schedule is not finalized until a few days before the week starts depending on what baby was born/was not born when expected so sometimes there is room for others! And while I'm booked solid in November and December for newborns, I have almost no newborns due in September and October!

I agree with this. I booked with Amy Jocelyn. She is willing to travel at no extra expense and she has props. Her prices were also very reasonable.

I am using AMy Jocelyn too. You should call around, I'm sure you will find someone. Good luck.
