Re: Newly Pregnant Twin Mommies...
Heading towards 16 weeks and am feeling well. I guess because I am a chubby woman already, I haven't gained as much weight yet. We go for the 20 week on May 18th! I have a gut feeling that it is 1 boy and 1 girl! We'll see. What I am getting more worried about is the money! I am so nervous about that!

I feel your pain about the money. It def. has me worried. I try to not think about it but avoiding isn't going to make it go away. I should be making a game plan.
Does anyone know the cost difference between having one or two at the same time?

I don't know the exact cost difference btw having one and two but the BIG ticket items like cribs and mattresses and then double the formula, double the diapers, it is substantial. Whenever you do buy furniture or higher priced items, always ask about a twin discount - usually you can get 10% off the second thing.

Re: Newly Pregnant Twin Mommies...
I am almost 17 weeks now and I am finally starting to feel a little better....I am still down about 5 lbs from my pre pregnancy weight but I definately have a belly now....I have my next appointment on Monday and I am hoping they can tell me what they are....We are having a hard time coming up with names that we agree on and also freaking out about the money...We currently live in a 1 bedroom co op and we really cant swing buying a house and daycare....

Re: Newly Pregnant Twin Mommies...
Good luck to all of you. It an exciting time so enjoy every minute of it. A word of advise don't waste money on Diper genies, bottle warmers or bassinets. if you can borrow bassinets i would do that. Get lots of onsies with feet becasue they are the easiest in the begining. Stock up on Dipers and wipes because you will be using an enourmous amount of both.
Best wishes
