We took the ferry from Orient Pt, and then drove from New London to Newport. We were in the car a total of less than 3 hours. 1 hour to Orient, and about an 1 hour and 1/2 to Newport once in CT.

We did it on the way home from a trip to Boston, but it's only about 3-3.5 hours from Levittown.

We drove. It took about 4 hours from Suffolk, but we hit a lot of traffic on 95.
