Another example of why something has to be done.

whats even worse is that a lot of these people have insurance but their insurance companies are ripping them off with shoddy coverage and insane deductibles that arent even affordable.
the whole insurance industry needs to be overhauled big time!!

The program is run by Remote Area Medical, a non-profit group established 24 years ago to take modern medicine to the third world. Today they do some 40 multi-day free clinics a year - 65 percent of them now in the U.S.
This part really got me...this is so sad and why its so frustrating when ppl on this board say, not out of MY taxes, etc.
And another word about this-the wom an who needed dental work for her daughter $1000!!! Ridiculous

but don't you see...it's THEIR OWN FAULT.
they weren't smart enough to get the right jobs.
why should I care about a single mom and her five kids...it's called BIRTH CONTROL honey...and if you can't afford that...it's called CLOSE YOUR LEGS. abstinence will set you free. 
and lady with the newborn...SAME THING. why would you have a child if you can't afford it's health care. way to think that through
and lady with the kid at the dentist...she's only 3...let her teeth fall out. they're not her permanent ones anyway. in the mean time...get SMART. save up and get a better job!!!! by the time she needs braces, your awesome health insurance at one of the MANY MANY MANY companies that offer it will cover it completely. and you can pat your smart self on the back.
a dude working multiple p/t jobs...find ONE job that pays a lot and gives you great health insurance. that is what all the smart americans do.
b/c this is America. where the SMART and hardworking survive and prosper (oh wait...is that here or the planet Vulcan... )

I agree...guess its easy for people to see things this way when most of everything in their life has been an easy road.
