Re: Nice Place For Dinner...
OMG... 21 Main!!
We went there on Sunday evening and it was absolutely the BEST meal I have EVER had. We started off with calamari (the BEST I have EVER had- hands down!) and then DH had the filet mignon and I had two brazilian lobster tails--
We each had a delicious glass of wine, the service was impeccible and then we shared an apple crisp w/ vanilla ice cream for dessert and it was HOMEMADE and unbelievable!
I could have eaten ANYTHING on the menu-- I had a tough time deciding between like FIVE things... I will absolutely be going back to try more stuff. I honestly don't think I can go to other places for "nice" dinners after having such a great experience there.
The tails melted in your mouth-- I barely had to chew they were so fresh and delicious! We also shared a "family style" side that they servie to you-- Macaroni and Cheese Au Gratin
I wanted creamed spinach but DH doesn't like that.
HTH! It's in West Sayville!

Re: Nice Place For Dinner...
ITA - Nautical Mile is great. Much better during the week too because it isnt as packed.
Or Huntington Village. Great places to eat there and then you can walk around town afterwards.

aside from, of course, tavern on the green and palm upper west in the city-- i wish i could afford to eat that good everyday

How about somewhere on the Nautical Mile?
DH and I did this a few weeks back and had such a wonderful evening. We had dinner at Schooners which was just YUMMY and then walked along the mile listening to the music and enjoying the breeze off the water
