Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo's wedding will be televised! The pair are keeping their wedding date under wraps, but TLC announced plans to air a special, Nick & Vanessa's Dream Wedding, just weeks after they tie the knot. This will be Nick's second time taping his nuptials for TV. His and Jessica Simpson's 2002 ceremony aired on Newlyweds, which documented their lives together until their 2005 divorce. Nick chatted with Rolling Stone shortly after their split, placing some of the blame for the breakup on the series. He said, "Jessica and I began playing these parts even when we were by ourselves . . . There was a question about what truly was our reality.” Nick found a new love in Vanessa in 2006, the year she starred in one of his music videos.

Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo announced today that they’re planning to air their upcoming nuptials on a reality TV special on TLC! The special will air a few weeks after the actual wedding takes place to keep things “private” on their big day. It will highlight their joint shower, Vanessa’s hunt for a perfect dress, and the planning of the big event. They shared:
“We’re lucky to have such passionate and loving fans, and we though partnering with TLC on this special would be the best way to share the exciting journey we’re on with all the people that support us and our relationship,”

I agree.
Hopefully this is the only thing they agree to have televised. I could be wrong, but I thought Nick has spoken publicly about how much he regretted filming Newlyweds.

ouch!!!!!!!!!!
they dont bother me in the least sense..and actually seem pretty down to earth
if someone wanted to pay for my wedding to be on tv..so be it lol
they have been together a long time and i think its great nick found a nice girl
i will def be watching

Well said I love them they seem like a very grounded couple. He always seemed that way. Jessica was the one that let the success get to her head and look at her now a big NOBODY!
