Nicole and Keith Not Selling Sunday's Baby Pics
NICOLE KIDMAN and Keith Urban have rejected deals worth millions of dollars for first pictures of their newborn daughter Sunday.
The star couple have yet to decide whether to release a photograph officially but, if they do, it will be free, a source close to them said.
"They don't think it's appropriate to make deals. They are still deciding how they feel about - if and when they will release a photo at all. But they realise there is enormous interest from the public and they are grateful and appreciative of that," the source said.
"… Nicole and Keith have been enjoying their first few days at home with the baby - Nicole is thinking about things like breastfeeding right now."
Kidman, 41, left the maternity ward of a Nashville hospital on the same day she gave birth to Sunday Rose Kidman Urban. She is understood to have given birth naturally.
Four days later, she looked happy and well rested, laughing and chatting with her friends while dining on a chicken salad at Bread & Company, US magazine People said yesterday.
"She looked amazing, relaxed and glowing and surprisingly fresh-faced for a new mom," a witness told the magazine. "Motherhood really suits her well."
Last week, Kidman's father, Antony, revealed his newborn granddaughter's unusual name was inspired by artist Sidney Nolan's muse Sunday Reed.
While her parents plan to spend the next few weeks at their home in Nashville, with Kidman's mother Janelle and sister Antonia, little Sunday Rose will soon be a frequent flyer.
Urban's mother, Marienne, has said she expects a visit to her Queensland home at the end of this month.
And Father Paul Coleman, the priest who married the superstar couple in Manly in 2006, is expected to baptise Sunday in September in the same chapel where they wed.
The new family will then head to London where Kidman is scheduled to film the musical Nine opposite Penelope Cruz, Judi Dench, Kate Hudson and Daniel Day-Lewis.

good for them, i always find it weird that celebs sell the pics even if the $ goes to charity.

I think it's odd that they say motherhood really suits her - it's not like she is a first time mom - she has 2 other children

I always thought it was a bit weird to sell pics of their kids, BUT when they put the money into a worthy charity like brad and Angelina do, I completely support it

My sister left the hospital the same day she gave birth and she gave birth naturally and with no pain meds! So I think it would be fine if you had help at home which she obviously has.
I think its great that they are not selling the pic to the highest bidder.

I left the hospital 22 hours after my second baby and 26 hours after my 3rd baby. I felt great! I would have left even earlier but I had to wait for my doctor to come to work to release me. I could walk just fine.
