Night Time Bed Wetting

Here is my dilemma:

My DS is pretty much night trained - he has had 2 accidents since October. He still wears a pull up to bed. He wants to wear underwear. The two times we let him wear underwear were the only times that he has had an accident.

Any insight into this? It seems strange to me that he wakes up dry every night when wearing a pull up, but the second we put him in underwear, he has an accident.... It doesn't make any sense!

It could have just been a coincidence with the underwear and accidents since it's only been 2 accidents in 2+ months.

If he's consistently dry when he wakes up, I'd put him in underwear and deal with the occasional accident. If he's having an accident every night, then put him back in the pull-ups and try again in a month or 2.
