DH bought me this in august and I Never set it up 
can you explain exactly what is does?? Its the one you put in your sneaker

Basically it keeps track of your speed and distance as you run so you can see how far you've run and how fast you're going. It uploads to the nike+ website where you can see all of your runs and join challenges. There's some LIF challenges going on you should join! I LOVE mine!

if you have nike+ shoes - you put it under the insole (I have them, you don't feel it at all) or you need to buy a little pouch to put on your laces??
you need an ipod nano or 1st or 2nd generation touch. someone here has the wristband that you don't need an ipod, but I think they may have discontinued that?
it will talk to you, depending on the program/run you are doing if you are doing a 5K, it will tell you when you reached 1K, etc). but you can always press the center button to get your stats at that exact moment.
t's been a great motivation - I love it more than my GPS watch.

I love it! It definitely keeps me motivated. Not so much during the runs but after when I can view my runs online, set goals for myself, and take part in the LIF challenges. I don't have Nike sneakers, so I bought a pouch that velcros to my laces from Dicks. It was $5.

I used it today for the first time and its awesome
It is pretty accurate also I use mapmyrun.com plus I drive them to see exactly how far I go and I time them and it was right on
just not sure how to figure out the calories yet though

Click on "my runs" at the bottom of nikeplus website. Hover your mouse over the run and a box will pop up with info on miles, duration, runs, calories.
