Nike just did it!!! Bye Bye Michael Vick (I hope this wasn't posted already)
Recognizing that social responsibility and conscience come before profits, Nike announced on July 27, 2007 that the company dropped accused dogfighter Michael Vick. Their statement said in part, "Nike has suspended Michael Vick’s contract without pay, and will not sell any more Michael Vick product at Nike owned retail at this time."

IMO
he's not gonna be found guilty - he'll cop a deal, and this will all be back to normal once it dies down

Yeah.. he won't rot anywhere.  I have a feeling he will go the way of Kate Moss after her cocaine video.
First she lost all her sponsers.
Then... she got new ones and some of them back. She never went to jail, she never lost custody of her child. She just got a lot of tsk tsk.

As much as I would love him to get what he deserves.... well I can see him joining an anti- animal abuse campaign leading to his "comeback".

not only did she not lose her sponser in the long run- she got more!
I agree with you- this case is not going to end with him in jail - it's just not how our legal system really works

There was an HBO sports edition (right after the boxing matches) on Dog Fighting...as a sport...showing dog fights.
