Nikon DSLR owners: Nikon School opening!
I have 1 ticket to the Nikon Class for Saturday, March 21st. My mom & I signed up, but my husband is going away that weekend so I'm looking to get rid of the tickets. They're $119/per ticket. The class is sold out.

barb, I sent my ticket back There's so much going on here, DH can NOT take a day to watch the kids, my sister is away that weekend, and I have no sitter - so I chalked up the $25 transaction fee and returned it for my money back
I am getting lessons from a photogreapher though, which I find more valuable in a one on one setting!

I don't know if they'll check IDs. It's stupid if they do, since anyone can sign up for the class, who cares who actually GOES that day, you know? But I really don't know the answer to that.
ETA: Isn't there a way to cancel them up to a week before, I could have sworn I saw that online somewhere? Check into it today!!

Barb, I doubt they'll check the ID vs. the name on the ticket. Why would they care? It's not a course for any type of credit or anything, KWIM.
And yes, you can cancel and get your money back - BUT they need to have written notice and the returned ticket 5 days before the class. And you lose $25 of it as a transaction fee (that's what I did, I mailed it back).
If worse come to worse and you can't get rid of it, the Nikon headquarters is right in Melville - you could probably return it in person for your money back.

Question - what if you don't have a NIKON DSLR? From the description, I don't think it matters what brand your DSLR camera is, but I just wanted to double check that.

I'm not really sure. As much as I want to get rid of my ticket, I wouldn't want you to go & not get anything out of it.
Personally, I probably wouldn't go to a Nikon course if I had another manufacturer. I'd probably take a general DSLR course.
