Nintendo 3DS XL

Any recommendations on a fun and EDUCATIONAL game to get my 5 soon to be 6 year old.

He has Super Mario Brothers, Skylander giants and now hubby got him Super Mario 2 and Mario Kart 7

Would love to balance things with educational options.

I don't think I've ever seen a truly educational game for the DS. There are games like "Brain age", but that doesn't really qualify as educational IMO.

I am going to be honest. Our kindle and iphone has educational stuff for him, his 3ds is just for fun.

He loves all the mario games, super mario 1 & 2, mario Kart, luigis mansion, etc. He has a team umizoomi one that I think has some educational stuff, but he got that game for his first ds at 4yo and I dont hink I have seen him play it in MONTHS,,,,( he will be 6 this month)

We are looking for the same for my little guy. It looks like there are a number of educational games for the DS (you can use those games on the 3DS).
