No Bake Cookies
I just made these for the 1st time with my son this afternoon, i still cannot get over how good {and easy!} they are! Just thought i'd share
No Bake Cookies
2 cups white sugar 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder 1/2 cup milk 1/2 cup margarine 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 pinch salt 1/2 cup peanut butter 3 cups quick cooking oats
1.In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the sugar, cocoa, milk and margarine. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. Boil for 1 minute, {stirring CONSTANTLY so the sugar does not burn} then remove from heat and stir in the vanilla, salt, peanut butter and oats. 2.Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto waxed paper. Allow cookies to cool for at least 1 hour. Store in an airtight container.

Re: No Bake Cookies
Do these have the consistency of coconut when hardened?
I think I made these in school as a little kid and I always remembered them. Yes, I'm a junk food addict.

not really coconut, mine were pretty soft and chewy. you can make them more chocolatey by adding extra cocoa powder or more/less peanut butter depending on your preference
