No fee gift cards?
I always scramble last minute so I want to do all my holiday shopping way in advance this year.
Do you know of any gift cards that do not charge a fee?
I know the VISA and AMEX ones all charge ~$5.
Would it be tacky to just give cash?

Last year I was able to get AMEX gift cards at AAA for new fee. I think I had to buy a minimum of 5 cards and put at least $20 on each card. I not sure if they are still going to have that promotion around the holidays but if you or anyone you know is a member it doesn't hurt to find out.
