I was watching after I read this thread. And the whole time was like ok what's the big deal. then the ending scene...OMG!! I hope they don't do a who's the daddy thing. I hope it's Barney's :)

I was so annoyed at Robin from last week during the entire episode. I can't believe she did what she did. Now, I'm curious to see how she's going to react to this and who she's going to want to be the father.

Me too!
I was watching with dh and he fell asleep right at the end. I really hope it's Barneys.
I'm glad they added a twist - the season started off so dull.

Maybe that's why they've made her so miserable so far this season...all those hormones running through her.
I hope it's Barney's....I'm not going to be happy if it's Kevin's.

It has to be Barney's. For one thing.. Kevin's arc is coming to a close and for another thing spoilers indicate that Robin's son is blonde. Of course it could be another child.. but I just don't think so.
I just wish they'd stop effing around and get these two together already. It's bad enough we have to be put through a parade of Ted's women on his search for 'The Mother" - we don't need Barney and Robin angst for the rest of the show's run!! It would actually move the show forward if Barney, Robin, Lily and Marshall are all happily coupled.. while Ted continues to be on the hunt.

I was complaining to DH the entire episode about how boring it was and then they threw in that ending!!
I dunno, still think Robin is depressed (did you see her outfit!? ).
I hope the baby is Barney's. That would be much cuter to watch than have her struggle with Kevin

Totally agree with all of you. The whole episode was so blah. But the moment Barney climbed in the bathroom window I said to DH - "watch - she's going to be pregnant". Don't know why I thought that. But I think it's a great twist and really hope that it is Barney's - esp being that he spent the whole episode talking about how he wants to be a dad.

It has to be Barney's, from the night they were together at the end of the hurricane episode.
But I don't know why I always got the impression that Robin never had kids, but I guess they never actually said that directly.
I'm still not loving Robin this season though. She is so blah and always looks so frumpy. The only good story line is between her and Barney, but the show is not as funny this season. And Ted is really annoying lately.

IDK- at the end of last season, they show Robin in a blue dress at Barney's wedding going out and getting Ted to talk to Barney and don't they elude to something about that guy that she keeps running into- the one she had a secret crush on???
