No longer on Long Island living in Florida now and wondering if there is a site like this here in FL?
I still will post here. After all I have been a part of LIW and LIF for seven years. I am hoping to meet other moms in Florida. I joined a "My Gym" so far. My community that I live in is family oriented however, the HOA does not have any mommy and me classes or anything geared towards the moms and kids. So, I was hoping I could find a site like this here in Florida where I live now.
I searched on Google and didn't really come up with anything.
Perhaps maybe the site Meet up?
I am in West Palm Beach, minutes away from Royal Palm and 5 minutes away from Wellington.
I need to meet new mommy friends ASAP!
Do not want to end up lonely here!

I Would definitely try meetups. My friend just moved from LI to Tampa and has already made a bunch of friends on meetups.
I moved to MA in January and have been looking for a LIF site too... Nothing!!! Meetups has a bunch of groups, but no one goes to anything. So most days, I venture out alone. 
I would also recommend checking out your community resources such as YMCA and parks.
It really sucks and makes me thankful for all my friends and resources on LI.

I am in Northwest Broward County (right over the border from Boca.) Believe me, there are no LIF type websites for down here. I've been searching for years!! Let me know if you ever want to meet up :)
