Re: No more Soy
Here is my response from your second post on this on the IF board.

"A few studies suggest that high levels of soy protein may decrease fertility. According to a report in The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition a small number of studies have shown that high levels of soy can increase menstrual cycle length, decrease FSH (follicle-stimulating hormone) and decrease LH (leutinizing hormone). But we must note that the high levels of soy generating this effect are equivalent to drinking three 12-ounce glasses of soy milk (60 g soy protein equivalent to 45 mg of isoflavones) for a month. However, normally most people do not consume this much soy. "

Re: No more Soy
I've seen this before and I think it's BS!! I eat/drink more soy than anyone I know because I'm (a) vegetarian and (b) lactose intolerant, and I got pregnant within 2 months of trying, miscarried, and got pregnant again one week later. Not to mention, think about women in Asian countries who consume more Soy than any American any day, and they don't seem to have any major fertility issues in those countries!

Re: No more Soy
I've read this info before too. I'm not a big soy person to begin with but I think, just to be safe, I would stay away from it while TTC. You never know! Plus everyone is different so even though I might not have a bad reaction to it, someone else could. I think its not worth the risk.
