should i be concerned?
i have been off BC for about 3-4 months now due to doctor recommendations...

I think your in the right place lol...
Digital is pretty accurate...maybe you might want to take a test at the Dr. office or wait a few more days.
Good Luck!

Re: Non Digital false negative?
My guess would be that your body is still adjusting to being off the pill.

Re: Non Digital false negative?
Lots of women NEVER test positive with urine, so yes, there is such a thing as a false negative even with a digital
blood test is the most accurate, but if you are recently coming of BCP, it could be your body adjusting; i agree

Re: Non Digital false negative?
good room to be in, God knows we're digital PG test pros Not sure about false negatives, but the above girl seems to make sense. Blood tests are the most accurate, so if being PG isn't what you want, get a blood test ASAP & best wishes!

Re: Non Digital false negative?
After coming off BC my first 3 cycles each got longer then the previous by a few days. Then with my last cycle I shot up to a 50 day cycle! We'll see what this month brings. But from what Ive heard it just sounds like your body is getting used to being off BC.

That was me a few months ago. I had a bit of a pregnancy scare before TTC and since I was hoping for a BFN, I was surprised by my disappointment. I guess there was a small piece of me that thought even though I wasn't quite "ready" yet it still could have been nice. Oh well. When it's right, it'll happen

you are definitely in the right place - don't apologize!!
if you are late, it's possible to get a false negative, especially if your cycles are exactly the same every month.
i would wait a few days and test again. you could have O'd late, or AF could just be delayed due to stress.
ETA: sorry, i posted before i read your update.
i was in the same boat. clots (clumps) are very normal as long as they aren't very large.
and it's also normal to want a BFN but still secretly, deep down, hope for a surprise. been there too!!
