non toxic paint
I'm sorry if it's a stupid ?, but is it okayto inhale non toxic paint? I teach the little ones and we are constantly doing arts and crafts.

yes...
if you're teaching pre-school or kindergarten, those paints are usually made of just water and dye and shoudl be specifically made to be safe for young children... and you, too!

tempra or regular finger paints should be fine. anything that the little kids use are usually non toxic. you have to start worrying when you get into acrylics and oils, and even then it's not that bad (it's the different mediums and oils that you use with the paints that are the problem - but the paints and accessories are also very pricey so i don't think you'll be using them for arts and crafts! ).
you can also make your own. i know there are a lot of recipes online.
