I live in North Merrick, but I lived in North Bellmore for 14 years. I went to Mepham high school. My parents still live there. It's a great neighborhood. Not one that will change for a long time. I grew up in brooklyn then moved the Bellmore in high school, so it was a culture shock, but the schools are very good.

We just moved here in April, and I love it. I'm right on the border of Bellmore and N. Bellmore; zoned for N. Bellmore elementary schools.
It's a wonderful location:
-great schools
-close to major parkways/highways
-convenient to everything I need
-nice neighborhood and cute downtown area.
There is not one bad thing I can think of.

I don't live there, but I have friends that do and they love it......and they love the schools that their kids are in!

I live in East Meadow on the border of N. Bellmore and think its great. I've heard the schools are good.

We just put a bid on a house in Bellmore also !! We used to live there, and loved it, so hopefully we get this house !!

We closed on our house in North Bellmore in Dec '07. Both DH and I grew up there and were thrilled when we found out we could buy a home and stay. It's a great neighborhood - let me know if you have any questions.

I have bene living here almost my whole life and love it. I am a product of the N Belllmore schools. I got a great education. I love the area, it is close to most things. Shopping is good, major prkwys are right up the block. The people are nice. feel free to FM mail if you have any questions. HTH
