north bellmore school district
I origninally posted in the home section, but thought id get some more traffic here...
I see there are a few different elementary schools. If anyone lives in North Bellmore, are the schools pretty equal in size and achievement, or are there big differences that I need to look into?

Re: north bellmore school district
I think achievement wise they are probably similar. My son goes to park and I think they are awesome. I am pretty critical smetimes as a teacher, but overall I applaud their efforts. Its pretty small and close knit. My son's friend left Park because he moved. He now oes to Sawmill and his parents feel its a little big and impersonal. But they just started in September. My friends kids goe to DInklemeyer and like it. I think Martin Ave is probably the best one.

Re: north bellmore school district
I live there and work in the school system (not bellmore) and I think a lot has to do with the type of learner your child is or will be, as well as teacher fit and fidelity of their instruction. I have not heard anything bad about the district.
