North Carolina and Furniture shopping!

Hello all, We are thinking about taking a road trip to Florida. I want to maybe stop in NC because I hear there are some great furniture deals there. Has anyone shopped in NC or does anyone live there that can share info! I know nothing about it so any info is good. Thanks!!

I'm sorry to hijack your post Chat Icon but i'm just wondering, how do you get the names, manufacturers and model numbers of the furniture you like?

You can look at them in places like Raymour, Peter Andrews, Ashley, etc.

I have my eye on a Hooker DR set - I lifted all the info right off the tag at Peter Andrews...

Re: North Carolina and Furniture shopping!

Just came back from NC. High Point.

Furnitureland South right off highway Huge 2, 4 story buildings of furniture. Quality stuff, prices OK. We were looking for a dining room set nothing under 15,000.
Also have separate building with outlet furniture, little nicks etc. Found d/r set 11 chairs missing arm chair, the wanted 9,500. No thank you. I would still go. it is very big.

About 11 hours from Naasu county 600+ miles

Just an FYI from someone who lives in NC....Furniture Lane South is VERY overpriced....they have great furniture and a huge selection, however they are plenty of places where you can get great stuff waaaayyyy cheaper.

I used them for our Drexel Heritage dining room set and the service and prices were good. They really went above and beyond to make the delivery as convenient as possible for me and they showed up at the beginning of the deliver window they gave me.

This is probably a stupid question but do they have all furniture styles? My style is contemporary.
