I hope that they all find loving homes, something they have never known. Poor dear animals.
ETA: I feel so sorry for the 200 animals that breeder got to keep while he gets his license.

I feel bad for them too!
Why would they let him keep 200 of them?!

Just a reminder to NOT buy from a puppy store. THIS IS WHY. Backyard breeders who do horrendous things to female dogs.
DISGUSTING, this man needs to be punished.

I completely agree that puppy mills are disgusting and inhumane, but are the puppies that are in the stores less deserving of good homes just because they are the result of puppy mills? It isn't there fault and I'm sure they want loving homes just as much as the ones that are up for adoption. Please don't take this as me advocating the mills because I am absolutely NOT...my dog that recently passed away was a rescue and I completely understand the need for adopting. I just want to know more behind why people think these puppies should be passed over.

The reason is sad - but simply - Supply and demand. If people get them from pet stores, the pet store gets more puppies to sell, thus giving the back yard breeders more reason -$$$$$- to continue with the practice. If no one bought them, there wouldn't be a market for them.
So sad though for the ones that are there now.

Thanks for explaining that. Well put, I could not have expressed that better myself. It is all about supply and demand.
