Northface Denali Jackets

I can't really tell from the pic - is the hood removable?
I think I'd get the one with the hood since sometimes you can get caught outside without an umbrella or whatever.

it depends how he's going to wear it.. will it be worn more as a fleece, or as a jacket on the weekend and stuff? I'd go for the hood myself.. but if it's going to be worn as a fleece like sweatshirt.. i'd go no hood

my DH always opts for the hood....on sweatshirts, jackets...he actually has this jacket w/the hood and loves it

but idk i think it would be weird with the hood..
think about the amount of time you would wear the fleece vs the amount of time you would wear the fleece with the hood..
