i LOVE norwegian. I've never been on the spirit though. NCL is great- its freestyle- so you have many choices when dining. DH and I went on the Norwegian Sky 2 years ago to the carribean had a blast!!! I would def. recommend to anyone!

My brother / sil and my parents both took Norwegian Dawn (separate trips) and both loved it... the ship that left from NY though I cannot remember their itinerary
Anthony's aunt has taken tons of cruises and loves the Norwegian cruiseline
I personally can recommend Royal Caribbean, I loved our cruise

I was recently on this ship on my cruise to Alaska. It was a nice ship and the staff was friendly. I think that they were getting ready to revamp the whole ship last fall.
