Not interested in bottles? Getting worried....
Gavin has had no interest in his bottles lately, but will drink water in little spurts.
He's been sick with congestion and now has an ear infection, so I am wondering if it's likely from that or if he's finally caught up by eating solids and is drinking less because of that.
Anyone have experience with this?
He normally drinks 4 8oz bottles per day and lately has cut an entire 8oz completely out..... He'll drink he entire bottle in the morning, start sandbagging for the next 2 bottles, and sometimes I can't even get him to drink his last one at all!!!
He started about 2 weeks ago, refusing only the nighttime bottle but now it's moving onto the other bottles during the day,.
HELP!

Re: Not interested in bottles? Getting worried....
DS didn't want his bottles much at all when he got his first and second tooth. I was worried about dehydration, but his doctor told me as long as he's still peeing and drooling as he normally does, he should be okay. She recommended a little pedialyte if he seemed dehydrated.
So that could be it for your DS, although it sounds as if his cold and ear infection may be affecting his appetite. I hope he feels better soon!
