Not knowing you are pg until 9 weeks-vent
Must be nice! My friend just found out she is pg. The test was so dark she thought there were twins in there Nope she is just almost 9 weeks. This is the 2nd person I know who did not know they were pg for this long. Sigh. Must be nice not to ever think of all of the c*rap we do. Jealous rant over.

How do you not know you didn't get AF!!!!!!!!!
I was always aware when it should come.
That pisses me off. How can we get that?

I know how upset you probably are, but just to play devil's advocate..........
I have PCOS and tried for over a year to get PG..... I have VERY long irregular cycles.
I had no idea I was PG until the RE did a sonogram ( checking on the PCOS issues) and I was already 7 weeks along.
I was in total shock ( of course thrilled) but I literally had no pregnancy symptoms at all and because of my long cycles didn't think anything of how "late" I was...... It was just an average cycle length for me.
So it DOES happen.... even with someone dealing with Infertility issues

some people actually get af or a lighter af every month and may not know they are pregnant. No stresses for them bc by the time they find out they are well out of the 1st trimester!

I have 2 friends who didn't know they were pregnant for awhile, the first has PCOS and gets AF sporadically...maybe ever 4-5 months..and the other only ever got light periods..they never fully stopped, she thought she was gaining weight and went to the doctor for thyroid check and found out she was pregnant.
It is unfortunate that we will never know the fun of just going home and having fun with our husbands and finding out we concieved.

Well the 2 people I am referring to do not have any IF problems and have regular cycles. They just lost track of dates and did not realize how late their period was. I wish that could be me. I have not had a period since Oct due to ivf/pg/mc/D&C but know for 100% I am not pg. I'm just super jealous I guess.

These stories make me crazy!!! Can you imagine not charting, temping, using opks...ahhhhh! But, thats great news for her.

I know, I feel the same way-
my friend had this happen got preg so fast after DC #1 that she was "busy" and "didn't realize it"

As much as I am happy for people when they are pregnant these stories make me wonder why I have to go through so much to have a baby which comes so easily to others. Going through IF treatment has really questioned my faith...
