The hard job of knowing when DC is not ready and LETTING GO... (PICS of course!)
Yup... ANOTHER food thread.
For the 1st TIME, DS hate by himself with a spork AND hate "real" food. He ate spaghetti rings with meat sauce. Now, that's double prize jeopardy if you ask me (can you sense the pride in this mama here???  ). But hey, after hours (or should I say MONTHS) of working with DS, it is finally paying off. For the past week, we were working on letting DS hold the spoon with our help. He showed an interest finally.
With no further due... here are the results!!
Setting the scene (The only 1 time he cheated and ate with his fingers!).
The AFTER version (surprisingly not 1 spot on his clothes!!!)
That pasta stayed on his finger the whole time and was still there when he was finished.

I love that last photo, I actually think you should print it and frame it as a little reminder of how much EJ's (and YOUR) hard work is paying off
