Not starting this month
I am so mad at Cornell right now... 1st I had my CD3 bloowork done yesterday at a lab near my house. They forgot to write STAT on the bloodwork so they won't get it until today. It's a good thing I called yesterday because then I found out that the injections class was CANCELLED. Had I not called, I would have taken the day off for nothing. After I was told this, I was informed that I should have had a sonogram done and again, no one told me. I am frustrated... I was really hoping to start this month.

They usually remind you to go for a baseline sono...I'd be pizzed!

I know how much it sukks when you are ready to start and then bam you can't start and need to wait a month.....Cornell always does sonos on CD3 so I am very surpirsed that your nurse did not inform you....again, I am sorry for your wait....

No one ever told me anything. I left a message for the nurse last week but she was out. The other person I spoke to never told me anything and didn't convey anything I said to the PA. So yesterday the PA had me on the phone for 35 minutes while she tried to find my bloodwork, have me come in to meet with someone for the injectables class and call in a prescription for follistim. However, after realzing how rushed everything was, she felt it was best to hold off to next month. It was really upsetting.
So... DH and I will try again on our own and I'll take the class next week. I am definitely bringing a book, taking notes and asking a ton of questions.

i'm not sure if it's too late, but I never had an injectible class, I just watched online how to do it. Is that a possibility for you?

I don't necessarily have to take the class. However, they didn't do a sono and didn't have my bloodwork on Wed. So next month it is.

I'm very sorry to hear that. I know how important each and every month is to each of us and when it doesn't work out it is heartbreaking.
