Not taking Metformin for a few days
I went away and forgot my pills. My stomach was fine when I was on it, but for the few days I didn't take it, my stomach was a MESS.
Could it be from getting used to taking it and then not?

YES. I went one night without taking it (totally forgot) and I actually got lightheaded and almost fainted. But if I remember correctly, you said you're not insulin resistant, right? So I'm sure your stomach problems were probably due to not taking it, but hopefully you didn't do too much damage.

Since you are not on the Met for IR reasons, I wouldn't worry about it. I forget at times to take it too. We went on a cruise a few months ago and I forgot to pack it! I'm a little more vigilent now because I'm doing IVF and they have me on the Met now because it can help with egg quality.
Try to be more on top of taking it for your PCOS, so you can monitor your cycles as it's supposed to help regulate them. If you're not taking it, you won't know if it's helping or not. It's a much nicer drug then having to take Provera!

I think you should be fine taking your 3 pills. When I got my BFP in March, I was instructed to stop taking it. It wasn't until after my miscarriage and follow up appointment with my doctor that they had me restart it. That was 2 weeks between the time I stopped and restarted, and I was fine.

what do you mean too much damage?
sorry, I realized that I worded that poorly...what I meant was, hopefully not taking it those few days won't throw your cycle off too much.
