Note to bakers: don't use a cheapo hand mixer
to mix cookie dough. Mine overheated and started smoking. 
Dh got me a Kitchenaid mixer for my birthday. Enough watts to mix cement.

I made cookies this year with my Kitchenaid pro stand mixer! 575 watts of power!!!
It made making cookies and cakes a breeze!!!
