nothing to do with anything but Im upset..
I just recieved an email from one of the girls I used to teach. ( I am in the special ed field) Anyway, Her freind, another girl I used to teach snuck out of the hospital she was in and went to a church and hung herself . I cant even talk about it I am so choked up. I knew I would hear bad news eventually, but this really has struck me very hard. I am sick to my stomach. Please pray for her family. I just needed to vent this out bc I am going crazy keeping it in...

Thank you everyone. It is just so very sad. I just cant imagine why she would want to take her life. It shows that life is so precious each day .
My DH just doesnt understand the way I feel .. maybe bc we are in differnt job fields.
It comes in waves, I am ok. I look at Olivia and she makes me smile.
Thank you everyone. It means alot that you are all here for me when I need it

wow i'm so incredibly sorry... i'm in your same field and I had a student pass away on me as well a few years back (though in a different manner) and I sincerely fell ur pain, if you need to talk feel free to FM me.

I am so sorry. Anytime I hear news like that, even about a stranger, I feel ill.
A lady sitting next to me on jury duty this week had an 19 year old who killed himself. I haven't been able to get her out of my mind.

It DEFINATELY is. I can understand how you are feeling right now, but also imagine how much worse it must be since the student took her own life.
I lost a student in september, an 8 year old, and it really tore be apart. It was by far the most difficult wake I ever went to, harder then when immediate family passed.
Please hang in there, and let us know how you are doing tomorrow. FM if you want to talk to a fellow special ed teacher.
