Now! It's Driving me NUTS!!! Pics
So, Keith and I put an offer in, got accepted, went under contract, visited the house again and FOUND THE UGLY ELECTRONIC UNIT IN OUR MASTER BEDROOM!! Like blatantly smack on the wall in the bedroom. We wouldn't have put an offer on this house if we would have noticed it before!!! Too little too late.
I thought I'd be ok with it but it is killing me!!!!
Can you help? It measures 40 inches by 16 inches. It is long and scroll like looking. The only good thing about it is that it is on one side of the bed so I could easily cover it up evenly by placing one frame on one side and another on the other side of the bed. Sort of like over the nightstands beside our bed.
I've looked all night for something even remotely that size to put over this NASTY LOOKING thing!
Anyone bored and feel like helping to look for something!!!!???? Image Attachment(s):

Ours is in the finished part of the basement, we just painted it the same color as the walls so it would "blend in" and it looks ten times better now.

Really??? I might just try that!! It is really starting to get to me bad. I am so mad that we didn't see it sooner!!

How bizarre? I'm guessing maybe that wasn't always the MB and they just worked around it when expanding.
I would try to hide it somehow. Maybe box it out and hang a painting or something over it.

What an odd place for an electrical box.
I would suggest a Painting, or a big mirror and also painting the box...

we bought a really cool seriograph (print), and got it framed. It has moved from apartment to apartment and has hung EVERY TIME over our fuse box!
Don't ask me why they always put them in the dining room or bedroom. Why not a closet????!
I digress. No one has a CLUE that the box is under ther. We forget sometimes too

What a strange place for the box! The ladies have good suggestions. And if you want to spend the $ you CAN have the box moved.

We painted one in my daughters room too the same color as the wall and it blended pretty good.

Ours is in the Master Bedroom also, we just painted it the same color as the wall. You don't even notice it. It's right behind the lamp

We used to have ours in our kitchen - and DH put a nice painting over it - voila!
I'd suggest framing it with wood (that's what he did) so a photo (or a long full length mirror!) can go on top of it.
You'll forget all about it!

My cousins house had a big box like that right in the kitchen. She had my other cousin build a little door so that it opened up (you didn't think you were opening up to the electrical box) - that looked cute.
Otherwise - I would cover it with a big mirror or something.
