NOW WITH PICS - DH has finished painting the nursery!
We picked out colors the other day, and he suprised me and finished while I was at work. I really wanted the room completed by my shower (in March) so gifts can be put right away, and I looks like that is definitely on schedule to happen now! 
Updated: Here are the pictures I just took. He still has to put up the crown molding.
We chose the colors from the teddy bear that goes with our bedding set we registered for!

I LOVE IT! What a wonderful job I love that bedding too! It's Nautica right? If we were having a boy, I'd love to have that set!

I was just thinking the same thing! I'm a week earlier and we haven't done a thing with the nursery! Dh is finishing the basement so we can't start the nursery til he gets that done. He hopes to finish by the end of February. Which means the nursery won't get started til March probably ! Uh oh!!

That was our plan too. We had to move our office out of that room and re-do the guestroom to include the office. The plan was to finish the room by March (in time for my shower). What ended up happening was we painted the Guestroom and resis the carpet... then DH just moved all of the crap from the babys room up there and painted the babys room! So now we are behind on the other room and there are tons of boxes for me to sort through. 
But I am so happy DH did the painting early. I just go in there and smile
