NPR - but my DH is sooo PO'd its really really funny

Let me preface this by saying my DH is the LEAST patient person in the entire world. Tee-heehee

So at about 7pm we started putting up the prelit tree. One section wasnt lightining, so DH toyed with it for about an hour or so with some cursing. Couldnt get it lit.

Went to Lowes to just buy a box of white lights for that one section. No little boxes, just Griswold family Christmas size boxes. So he walks in the door with a brand new tree....pre lit - or so he thinks.

Im reading the box and it doesnt say pre-lit, just pre-wired. So Im like ummmm, hun, I dont think this has lights on it. He was like, yes it does, it says right here. I was like no, it says prewired and in tiny letters "lights not included", which means you can plug your lights right into it.

Needlesss to say he opens the box, no lights on the tree. He was like "mother f'er it had lights on it in the store. Now I laugh really hard, which doesnt help his mood, but come on, its funny.

He is now out driving around trying to find lights for our "prewired tree".

Poor DS is such a trooper, hes dying to have the tree up and shouldve been in bed an hour ago, but we are letting him stay up until this thing is up, lit and decorated.

We have a pre-lit tree too.. we aren't decorating it until tomorrow.. but when Rob put it up during the week, the whole bottom section of lights was out. This lunatic spent 2 hours stripping the burnt out lights from the bottom section!!! I thought he'd just go out, buy new lights and string them on.. but evidently he decided that the existing set that was fused on there had to come off. I gotta tell you.. his irritation did make me smile inappropriately and I'm not sure why!!!

DH was all "Im NOT going through every single bulb"...He called the company, they sent a replacement.
Last night I come home and I'm like "Oh good, the replacement wires worked"...."No, didn't need them" and shows me this gadget that helps fix/find the one darn bulb thats out!
