NPR---Prayers needed!!!!!
Hubby was just transported to our local hospital after suffering a mini stroke. He has had them in the past but the last one was in Feb 2009 and we thought we had all of his meds sorted out...He shoveled our van out earlier today because the village we live in didn't finish plowing it and we were stuck and needed to go to the store. So I told him not to do it. he could have paid the kid downstairs but he shoveled for a bit and came back in. That was around 3pm. He was fine. He laid down at 430pm and when he got up at 5pm he came into the living room and went to say something to DS and couldn't speak. I was like uh-oh...I called my SIL and talked to her. She knows all too well about strokes and she agreed that I should call the ambulance. Now hubby is a member of our local FD so he always puts up a fight when he has to go. But they made him and I am now home waiting for them to call me with an update...There is no way I am going to the hospital with a 14 month old just to sit in the ER all night. They will admit him....I am under enough stress as it is and I don't need this on top of it...I now have to talk my Mom into coming here to stay with me so I can go to and from the hospital. She is basically snowed in at her house and I wouldn't be able to park my van anywhere.....
